What is the best way to treat blackheads in a child of 5?

You should be sure these are blackheads. Children's pores are kind of small to be collecting stuff that would create blackheads.

I would think that any of the products adults use would be too severe for a child's skin.

Call your pediatrician, maybe this is a common thing that is easily cleared up.What is the best way to treat blackheads in a child of 5?
Neutrogena makes a blackhead face wash scrub you can use. It even smells nice. What is the best way to treat blackheads in a child of 5?
squeeze them! other wise your 5 year old will look like a pizza face.
Leave them alone (no picking). You may try a slightly more adult soap on the affected area, it may help break up the oil that is creating the blackhead.
pour hot water on his face
Wash his face with a mild cleanser at least twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening, try Neutrogena cream cleanser for acne. Also, I'd use a toner. In most cases, blackheads are caused from not washing your face enough and it being dirty and having dirt/oil sitting.
If the condition is worse, go see a pediatrician or a dermatologist.
