How do i get rid of blackheads?

its ugly. How do i get rid of blackheads?
Cleanse the face thoroughly with a good cleanser meant for oily skin. Preferrably use a salicylic acid cleanser.

Apply an astringent like witch hazel. It helps reduce oiliness. If its a bit harsh mix a bit of rose water in it.

Apply a good quality medicated cream or gel containing resorcinol, salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. This helps is soaking the oil and helps in peeling away the blackheads. You can get creams or gels of Benzoyl Peroxide treating blackheads If benzoyl peroxide leaves your skin dry, apply an oil-free moisturizer after 10 mins of applying benzoyl peroxide.

Effective Tips to get rid of blackheads

•Exfoliate the blackhead prone area 3-4 times a week using facial exfoliators and scrubs.

•Use creams containing AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Fruit acids) like glyco-creams that will clear away any dead skin cells and ';expose'; the blackhead. Use the AHA's every 3 days or so.

•Avoid washing the face with soaps more than twice a day. Instead wash your face often with plain water splashes.

•Often use a mask with a clay base.

If blackheads look ready to pop out, you could try removing them gently by using a blackhead extractor. Also, Pore cleanser strips (blackhead extractor) for removal of blackheads are highly recommended for the treatment/removal of blackheads. Using them once per week will leave your pores cleaner and smaller.

Steam your face to soften both the skin and the material blocking the pores.

Clearasel or something like that but it is supposed to be really good!!
wash your face with soap everytime you shower
Biore face strips. They really do work.
Toothpaste
squeeze the hell out of the little buggers
Though the best way to remove blackheads is an area of contention, the most common method for getting rid of blackheads is to gently squeeze them. Removing the “stuff” inside of the blackhead helps the skin because you are relieving the pressure which causes the damage. We know it can be nearly impossible to leave a blemish alone so here are some tips for gentle blackhead removal:

Use a mild scrub or exfoliate to remove any dead cells and expose the blackhead.

Pat your face dry.

Place a slightly warm compress on your face for approximately 10-15 minutes in order to soften the blackhead, making it easier to remove.

Pat your face dry again.

Place a piece of tissue on the tip of each finger to avoid slipping, which could tear the skin and cause further damage.

Gently apply even pressure to both sides of the blackhead by pushing down, then up around the blemish. You’re trying to apply the pressure from *underneath* the blackhead.

Only attempt this once or twice. If it does not “pop”, you may bruise the skin, make the blackhead worse, and could cause scarring.
to help prevent them from forming you need frequent and GENTLE exfoliation. Wet a fresh clean washcloth (to prevent germs spreading) in warm water, add a small dab of cleanser and gently rub in circles over your whole face, especially where you notice blackheads forming. You should do this at the end of your shower when your skin has softened; you won't have to scrub hard to get the dead skin off. Just like soaking dishes before washing :)

Blackheads are formed by a mixture of excess oil and dead skin that gets trapped, so keeping your skin free from the dead skin will help. For any current blackheads, have a professional remove them.

I must add that I remove my own blackheads at home. I do this after I've exfoliated as described above while my skin is still soft, using two Q-tips to gently squeeze. It makes them come out easy, with minimal damage. Using the exfoliation method like that has greatly reduced the number of new blackheads too!
ummm go to the grocery store and gte face wash and face mask
The Biore strips are effective to a certain extent. I've also found that using Tea Tree Oil on them will help clear them up. Of course you should wash your face regularly. Steaming may help release them but be sure to splash your face with cold water after to close the pores up as much as possible.

But if you have a lot of blackheads you may never get rid of them all. For one thing when you get rid of the blackhead that pore is probably just going to fill with more oil and dirt and you'll have another blackhead before you know it. If you have big pores they may just be a part of your life.
Wash you face and turn 20
Biore Pore Strips and an astrigent to shrink pores so they don't come back as much.
pore strips, face steaming, and pop them!
Just wash your face at least three times a day with soap that doesn't irritate your skin - that can make it worse if it does. You can also get a face wash for acne, if you want.

If it's really bad (like mine was), you might need to get prescription topical medicine...Tazorac, Zoderm, Differin. You might even need to fight it from the inside with pills, so that might require some Minocycline.
first, get to root of the problem. Wash the area frequently with soap and warm water. Multiple times a day if needed. The point to to keep your skin clean and bacteria free.

Over the counter topicals are really not alot of help. Consider, if your skin is naturally oily. If it is, added reason to be more agressive at keeping your skin clean, removing as much oil as practical. Skin oils, perspiration, etc. serve as a substrate and nutrient for bacteria to grow yielding blackheads.

Good luck and keep clean.
Try proactive I had blackheads for years and I HATED them then I tried proactive and it all cleared up. it's really good, and if they don't go away, whoever you bought it from will give you a refund.
