I have a couple of blackheads on my nose and i was wondering if it workedDoes Clean and Clear persa-gel 10 work on Blackheads?
No, persagel 10 is benzoyl peroxide which basically kills the bacteria in the area you apply it. But blackheads are oil (not dirt) in your pores that are oxidized by the air, so benzoyl peroxide will have no effect on your blackheads.





If you want clear pores, exfoliate your skin with two percent BHA (or salicylic acid), anything less or something such as AHA (that is lower than 8%) will have not much effect on your blackheads. 1-2% BHA is strong enough to penetrate your pores to clear your pores. But it isn't magic and will not clear your skin in one use.





Use a clay based mask once a week to keep your pores clean and aid you in ridding your blackheads. Don't use anything that has irritating ingredients.





Don't use pore strips. They only remove the top layer of the blackhead if any at all and can actually enlarges pores. Since blackheads are in the shape of a tear drop and when the pore strips pull them out, they will increase the pore size on its way out.
