What is the best to get rid of pores and blackheads on the nose?
Exfoliating scrubs work best for me. I use an apricot scrub and it makes my skin feel amazing.

I have had the same problem. Over this past year for some reason I have started breaking out %26amp; having lots of blackheads. It disgusts me. I researched %26amp; researched trying to find something that would work %26amp; I did find something that has worked for me. I realise it may not work for you or everyone out there. However, I bought Klear Action. I don't know if you've heard of it, but it compares to Proactiv yet it's 1/2 the price. It sales for $19.99 or that's what I bought it for at Walgreens. I'm not sure who else sales it but you can find it over the Internet. It comes with the 3 step process. You get your wash, your toner, %26amp; your lotion. It has really really cleared my skin up. I get a bump on occasion but for the most part I'm clear. My blackheads are even gone. I saw a difference %26amp; that it was working within 2 days. It wasn't all gone that quick but I saw a drastic change in my face. I wash my face twice a day in it most of the time, but there's days I only get one wash in. I hope this helps. I have real oily skin, and I have 5 people living in my house, so I don't always get to take a shower everyday, and sometimes don't have time. So when I take a shower, I use the dove face scrubs. They come in little tubs, and they have a soft side, and a harsh side. They usually get rid of my sits, pimples, blackheads, or whatever. So I'm pretty much washing them off with those pads lol. And they have natural moisturizers in them, so they keep your skin soft too. They have different kinds, for different skin - oily, dry, extra dry, extra oily, whatever. I wash my face with the harsh side first, to get all the gunk off, and to open the pores, and then I use the soft side, to massage the stuff into my face, and ease the redness from washing to hard(because I'm in a hurry) with the harsh side. Or I use an apricot facial scrub. I like to know that my face is actually being scrubbed, so I get the really gritty kind.
Face scrubs, or moistourizing pads usually work the best. All depending on the oily-ness of your skin, and your skin sensitivity.
Clean your face regularly with a tonic using a soft piece of cotton. Try Clean And Clear

Make a paste of warm water and baking soda. Rub on the blackheads to unclog the pore. Be gentle because you don't want to scratch your skin. Either use nothing or an oil-free moisterizer on those areas of your face.

Use Salt and massage gently on the nose area after cleaning.

there are face cleansing pads that are specifically made for black heads... they work VERY well... you can get them from any store like walmart, kroger, HEB ettc.....

I guess it depends on your skin- I've noticed that staying consistant has helped the best for me. When I was in High School I'd always buy something new and then would get some zits- eventually I just started using the same thing always and now I rarely get a zit or anything- I don't have any noticeable blackheads. I think that is the key- stick to what your skin responds to. I can't change my face wash or my lotion without breaking out. This past Christmas someone gave me Proactiv because I begged for it- I really never have zits but I still wanted to ensure I'd never get zits-- haha- it was the WORST! I used it for three days- on the third day everywhere that the soap touched me was read and bumpy- I quit using it. I still have it and need to get rid of it. I use Biore cleanser that has a cooling effect- also used the Biore nose strips sometimes- I use a clinique lotion and I never use an astringent or anything- supposedly it dries your skin out.
I only use those products and it works for me- I get a lot of comments that I never have zits. I am not sure if this plays into it BUT I also use Bare Minerals makeup- I went to an Aveda shop and Clinique makeup to use their stuff at different times because Bare Minerals gets kind of pricey but when I used the liquid stuff it just felt gross and I did break out- and those brands are supposed to be awesome. So my skincare is:
Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser %26amp; sometimes Biore Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips
Clinique Repairwear Intensive Night Cream - I use it every time I wash my face, I've tried their other lotions but for some reason this one works the best for me.

I have the same problem!! A makeup professional told me that a lot of exfoliation is the best way to get rid of them. Also, maybe try the Clean and Clear Blackhead Eraser. NEVER EVER EVER EVER POP THEM! It only gets worse! I speak from experience. Your pores get bigger, and you get more and more blackheads if you pop them, even when you use a blackhead extractor. Oh, and you scar.
The best and surefire way (I think) is to cleanse daily, exfoliate (max twice a week), and homemade remedies that I'm now going to mention (which might sound silly btw... but hey, it works) -
Honey and extra virgin olive oil. And make sure it's EXTRA VIRGIN. You don't want to smear actual oil on your face! This is what I do:
a. Take 2 teaspoons of honey.
b. Mix about a half a teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil.
c. Put it in the microwave for 10 seconds, so it's warm.
d. Apply it on where you have blackheads and leave it there for about 20 minutes.
After that, use lemon juice and egg white to reduce the size of your pores. (minimize clog) Basically, for this, you squeeze lemon juice and mix the egg white and apply it on your face for 20 minutes. You can feel it tighten your pores.
I did this whole treatment three times a week, and I saw results in less than a month.
(Don't forget to use a light cleanser, exfoliant, and maybe a toner... you might want to steam your face once in a while too, but you don't have to)

i pop them. they go away after i do and they dont leave any marks like whiteheads. just put a warm rag on them and using a q tip, pop them. ten put som neosporin or antizit cream on them. that works for me

No, persagel 10 is benzoyl peroxide which basically kills the bacteria in the area you apply it. But blackheads are oil (not dirt) in your pores that are oxidized by the air, so benzoyl peroxide will have no effect on your blackheads.
If you want clear pores, exfoliate your skin with two percent BHA (or salicylic acid), anything less or something such as AHA (that is lower than 8%) will have not much effect on your blackheads. 1-2% BHA is strong enough to penetrate your pores to clear your pores. But it isn't magic and will not clear your skin in one use.
Use a clay based mask once a week to keep your pores clean and aid you in ridding your blackheads. Don't use anything that has irritating ingredients.
Don't use pore strips. They only remove the top layer of the blackhead if any at all and can actually enlarges pores. Since blackheads are in the shape of a tear drop and when the pore strips pull them out, they will increase the pore size on its way out.
